Identity
This identity redesign for the Brehm Center doubled as my masters thesis at Fuller Theological Seminary as I investigated the branding of faith based organizations. I was able to work with Fuller staff and faculty as a team to develop this red “stamp” identity for the Brehm Center, a hub of creative arts on campus.
If you’re in the creative field, perhaps you know the feeling … you’re working hard, liking your stuff, or at least satisfied … then you look over at a co-workers, classmate or friend’s work who is kickin’ major @$% while taking names and you just have to say … “DANG!”

Identity
The Office of Social Justice, part of the Christian Reformed Church, needed an identity update to establish a presence in both their denominational offices, and the larger world of social justice needs and organizations. This identity has alternating elements to meet these needs, yet consistent bold OSJ letters in all versions to build familiarity.
Event Identity and Print Promotions
I was able to create a unique identity and promotional campaign of posters, ads and tickets for musician Katie Herzig’s concert at Fuller Theological Seminary.
Theme, Identity, and Print Publications
The week-long arts festival on the Fuller Seminary Campus centered around the theme “From the Soil” to allude to the school’s 60th anniversary year. I developed the identity and print materials for the promotional needs around campus.
Publication Design, and Illustration
In this issue of the avant magazine, I was able to try some illustration for a short article titled “Open Account,” as well as the design for the cover, and feature story.
Campaign Identity and Brochure
Working closely with the staff at Bidwell Presbyterian Church in Chico, CA, I developed the identity and brochure design meant to launch a capital campaign to move the historic church and growing congregation forward with debt reduction and further campus renovations.
Identity and DVD Materials
Joining a group of students at Fuller Theological Seminary with diverse talents and skills, I was able to contribute this identity and supporting design for the founding of Miners Club Productions. We were able to accent our theological education with film projects to bring a fresh yet meaningful voice to culture.
It must be election season … AIGA’s (American Institute of Graphic Arts) is full of many specific interest groups such as Design for Democracy. Looks like they have been doing some amazing headway to help election officials avoid another ballot design disaster, and make the voting experience clear and simple which we saw in 2000, [...]
