PROJECT: Web Collages
Look what’s new from House Industries! An Alexandar Girard line of typefaces and merchandise. Exciting!
I picked up some of his folk-style nativity scene Christmas cards when I was visiting the International Museum of Folk Art in Santa Fe in New Mexico, where he was a curator. They were so beautiful in fact, I had a [...]
Carrying over a topic from my previous post … the new Bond film’s location slides were found thanks to a flickr conversation moderated by Matt Hamm, who also created a new set with the images from a UK firm, Tomato. Here are few of my favorites, but check out the set on Tomato’s site or [...]
While Bond might indeed be mindless and unrealistic action, I have grown up with this character and awe for those amazing first few minutes of the famous title sequences… I wasn’t too disappointed this time around. With lots of sand and motion, it had its own feel to keep things fresh – but was definately [...]
A friend sent this to me, and I LOVE it. 24 Obama themed dingbats!

If you can get past the [...]
Publication Design, and Illustration
In this issue of the avant magazine, I was able to try some illustration for a short article titled “Open Account,” as well as the design for the cover, and feature story.
It must be election season … AIGA’s (American Institute of Graphic Arts) is full of many specific interest groups such as Design for Democracy. Looks like they have been doing some amazing headway to help election officials avoid another ballot design disaster, and make the voting experience clear and simple which we saw in 2000, [...]
I recently found out my photography was accepted into this year’s fall Art Walk, part of the Pasadena Arts weekend!
The Art Walk is from 11-5 on Saturday, October 11th . I will join other local artists with a booth to show and sell my photography in this street fair of performances, workshops, and visual art!
The [...]
